Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT 02/2025

1. Nationality

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.

2. Age Limit (As on 01 July 2026)

20 to 24 years (Born between 02 July 2002 to 01 July 2006)

Ground Duty (Tech/Non-Tech)

20 to 26 years (Born between 02 July 2000 to 01 July 2006)

Note: Upper age limit is relaxable up to 26 years for candidates holding a valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India).


3. Educational Qualification

Flying Branch

  • Graduation (Minimum three-year degree course) in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks and must have passed Math and Physics at 10+2 level.

  • OR

  • BE/B.Tech degree (Four-year course) with minimum 60% marks.

Ground Duty (Technical)

  • Candidates with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a four-year degree in Engineering/Technology.

Ground Duty (Non-Technical)

  • Administration: Graduate in any discipline with 60% marks.

  • Education: Postgraduate with 50% marks and 60% at graduation level.

Meteorology

  • Postgraduate in any Science stream/Mathematics/Statistics/Geography/Computer Applications with a minimum of 50% marks.

NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch)

  • NCC Air Wing ‘C’ Certificate with minimum 60% marks in graduation and Physics & Maths at 10+2 level.
