Application Fee

Application Fee: There is a non-refundable Application Fee of ₹250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) for all the posts. However, initially all candidates have to uniformly pay ₹750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) per application as processing fee. The processing fee will be refunded only to those candidates who appear in the written test as under:

  •  ₹750/- i.e refund in full for candidates who are exempted from payment of Application Fee (women, SC/ST/ PwBD, Ex-Servicemen). 

  •  ₹500/- i.e after deducting the Application Fee in respect of all other candidates

Payment can be made through net banking, credit card, debit card, or UPI.

ISRO has announced a total of 320 Scientist/Engineer posts in various disciplines. The discipline-wise vacancy breakup is as follows:

  • Scientist/Engineer (Electronics) – 113 Posts

  • Scientist/Engineer (Mechanical) – 160 Posts

  • Scientist/Engineer (Computer Science) – 44 Posts

  • Scientist/Engineer (Electronics) PRL – 02 Posts

  • Scientist/Engineer (Computer Science) – 01 Posts

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure that they meet the following eligibility criteria before applying:

1. Educational Qualification

  • BE/B.Tech or equivalent in relevant disciplines from a recognized university/institution.

  • Minimum 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA on a 10-point scale.

2. Age Limit

  • Maximum Age: 28 years as on June 16, 2025.

  • Age Relaxation:

    • SC/ST: 5 years

    • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

    • PwD: 10 years (additional relaxation for SC/ST/OBC)
